Reworking slice #sol18

I’ve decided to rework an acrostic poem I wrote a couple of posts ago. One comment suggested I write it chronologically, which I had considered when I first wrote it.

Original:

Sights and sounds that are unfamiliar

Yummy hot chocolate and coffee at Starbucks

Music washes over us

Plenty of applause: concert master, conductor, performers

Hopping on the train just in time

Opportunity to let my mind wander

Numbers on the aisles tell you where to sit

Young people’s concerts are the best.

Reworked Version:

Scurrying to catch the train in time.

Young peoples’ concert series.

Music washes over us

Plenty of applause: concert master, conductor, performers

Happy to let my mind wander

One tall latte, two kids’ hot chocolates

New experiences to discuss

Years will go by, but these memories will last forever.
