#sol18 Second slice

In an attempt to redeem myself after missing yesterday, I’m posting two slices today.

I went to the TSO (Toronto Symphony Orchestra) this afternoon with my mother and youngest daughter. I’m a subscriber so I get to a few concerts each season. I’m inspired to write an acrostic poem about going to the symphony.

Sights and sounds that are unfamiliar

Yummy hot chocolate and coffee at Starbucks

Music washes over us

Plenty of applause: concert master, conductor, performers

Hopping on the train just in time

Opportunity to let my mind wander

Numbers on the aisles tell you where to sit

Young people’s concerts are the best.
